Addy's Tartan Dress AG-Out of Stock
American Girl Historic Doll Addy's Tartan Dress Her Story: Addy worked hard making deliveries for Mrs. Fords's shop during the busy season. To thank her for her help, Mrs. Ford gave her a gorgeous taffeta dress that Isabella Howell had outgrown! This dress is similar to the dress given to Addy and was created using a Pleasant Company Pattern. The dress is made of Cotton/Rayon Blended lightweight Flannel in berry and various gray tartan plaid. It is detailed with a wide fixed satin sash detailed at the ends with 2" roped fringe. The sash is attached at the side seams and ties in a beautiful bow at the back, tiny satin bows embellish the puffy gathered sleeves at the elastic gathered hem and center front of the neckband which also is trimmed in ribbon galoon lace. The dress features a white Kona cotton yoke with satin ribbon galoon lace and three tiny black buttons on the center front underneath the neckband. The back closures include a small hook and eye at the back of the neckband and thin ultra soft velcro to close down to the center back seam which is closed 3" above the hem down. All seams professionally finished and fray checked as are all of our garments. Also included are a pair of White cotton pantalettes with a gorgeous ivy print motif and cotton eyelet trim on the hem. They have encased elastic waistband. *NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3. SMALL BUTTONS MAY PRESENT A CHOKING HAZARD. ALSO CAN BE WORN ON JOURNEY GIRLS AND OUR GENERATION BATTAT DOLLS as well as other similar soft body 18 inch dolls. This is a one of a kind dress. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR SPECIAL ORDERS.
